Estero Morua 11/25/2004 THANKSGIVING. Jeff and Noodles and I went. Oh, what a BIG time we had!! We cleaned the drawers and washed the windows and washed the curtains above the sink. We drank beer and wine. We met one Pierre behind his house -- that Saddam Hussein-type white building back there where we saw birds. He is from San Francisco. Also, Jeff MET GEORGE YOUNG, who is a legendary runner. George had a Keystone light. He is 67! We talked to the Whiteheads. Holmes wasn't there. We got up very very early on Sunday and made the border at 6:50 or 7 something and there was NO LINE. We beat everyone but we had to get up at 4:35 to do it. The window by the kitchen door is one half inch shy of four feet wide and it's a SQUARE.
