10. El vegano

     Ya no compro perritos calientes ni Salchichas Smokies© de Oscar-Meyer. Sé lo que pasará. Los perritos calientes y salchichas vienen en paquetes de ocho, verá, y comeré seis de inmediato y los dos que quedan para el desayuno al día siguiente. Lo mismo ocurre con helado. Yo compraba tarrinas de medio galón y siempre comía tres cuartas partes al llegar a casa y el resto en la mañana. No podía evitarlo. Una vez discontinuaron las Smokies© y yo estaba inconsolable, pero entonces ¡Milagros! Oscar-Meyer volvió a hacerlas y fui salvado, pero luego por supuesto tenía que dejar de comerlas. Sencillamente, no podía controlarme a mí mismo y las comería como de costumbre....

10. The Vegan

     I don't buy hot dogs or Oscar-Meyer Smokies© anymore. I know what will happen. Hot dogs and sausages come in packs of eight, you see, and I'll have six right away and eat the two left over for breakfast the next day. The same goes for ice cream. I used to buy a half-gallon tub, and I always ate three-quarters of it when I got home and the rest the next morning. I just couldn't help myself. Once, before I quit eating them, Oscar-Meyer discontinued the Smokie© links. I was inconsolable, but not long afterwards they re-issued them, and I was saved. But then I had to quit, of course; I just couldn’t control myself and was eating them exactly as always.
