I don’t know if I told you this story. My friend Andree Malone was waiting for a plane and started chatting with the woman next to her whose name was also Malone. They had so much in common that they decided to meet for lunch and the other woman showed Andree a book she wrote about the flora/fauna/shells of the Sea of Cortez. So I gave Andree a copy of your Logbook to give to her. Here’s her reply about it.

Hi  Andree,
Meant to tell you that Tom Cole’s logbook of their years at Estero Morua is bringing back so many memories…thanks so much…I would really like to have a copy, however that is possible, so that I can share it with my children, who also have many fond memories of living close to Estero Morua!

Remember reading about the boat that got stuck in Morua? We met that family before they gave up the ship, so to speak.
One day sometime later when the sailing ropes were still intact, some younger members of our group climbed up grabbed a rope, and “flew” onto the dune. Also, Marlon Brando and a girlfriend were once our guests, and they also visited the boat.
